Mabel House Community Art Center
Mabel House the original residence of the Tavares family, is a 100yr old Goan Home restored to support the vision of a localised Community Arts Center, working towards the cultural upliftment of Goa.
The center works as a gallery and studio, empowering local art events, cultural exchange workshops and residencies for upcoming artists.

A center for learning & development of local arts & culture
Given Aldona’s rich history, beautiful natural surroundings, and tight-knit community, our foundation brings a space for local artists to showcase their work, as well as offer educational and creative workshops to engage the broader community in arts and culture

Spaces at the center
Tucked into the gentle, green curves of Aldona — one of Goa’s most poetic and historic villages — lies a living, breathing art gallery. More than a space, this is a sanctuary for creativity, a house of stories, and a bridge between tradition and contemporary expression.
Here we aim to nurture emerging talent — from school kids to hobbyist elders — and give them a space to be seen.
